Young African-American girl earns $3.7million scholarships to study in 115 US universities, set to become first graduate in her family

Antoinette Love, a young African-American girl, is poised to make history as the first university graduate in her family, having amassed an astonishing $3.7 million in scholarship offers from 115 different universities.

Antoinette Love completed her education at the International High School of New Orleans in the United States, achieving an outstanding 3.50 cumulative grade point average, despite simultaneously enrolling in a community college through dual enrollment programs.

Remarkably, Love secured admission to over 115 colleges and universities, resulting in a staggering $3.7 million in scholarship offers. She candidly shared with CNN that while she had applied to numerous institutions, she never anticipated such a prolific response. She explained, “I just kept applying; I wanted to see how many I could get into. At first, I didn’t think I was going to get this many, but then they just kept coming, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.'”

Throughout her high school journey, Love actively participated in various organizations, including the anime club, video game club, national honor society, English honor society, and Rho Kappa social studies honor society. Notably, she maintained her honors student status while attending the International High School of New Orleans and even held a part-time job selling ties, cuff links, and socks at the Riverwalk after school.

Antoinette Love’s counselor, Denise James, characterized her as an exceptionally focused and attentive student with a commendable personality. James further noted that Love undertook challenging coursework during her high school years and excelled, demonstrating her readiness for college.
